Verify That Google Chrome is Up-to-Date

While site users and visitors can view codes in any browser, code edits and code management should only be done using the most up-to-date version of the Google Chrome browser.

 

This article will show you how to confirm your version of Google Chrome is current.

 

Verify or Update Your Version of Chrome

  1. Open the Google Chrome Browser
  2. Navigate to the More menu (three-dots icon), hover over the Help option, then click About Google Chrome

  3. View the About Chrome box
    The About Chrome box and current version information on the Google Chrome Settings page.
    • If you are using the current version of Chrome, you will see a "Chrome is up to date" message.
    • If your version of Chrome is out of date, Chrome will automatically begin to update your browser on this page. Once the update is complete, you will see a message encouraging you to reload Chrome for the update to take effect.
