CivicPlus provides free access to the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) Attorney LISTSERV, which is also known as the IMLA ATTY-LIST LISTSERV. A LISTSERV is a mailing list software application that allows users to send one email to a list of email addresses. Our IMLA Attorney LISTSERV connects municipal attorneys so they may share information and collaborate. If you are a municipal attorney, use the information in this article to sign up for and use the LISTSERV.
To sign up for the IMLA Attorney LISTSERV, provide your first name, last name, email address, organization, and a brief description of your background in municipal law on the IMLA ATTY-LIST LISTSERV sign-up form.
Introduce Yourself
After you have signed up, you should introduce yourself to the list. A request for this introduction will be sent to you upon sign-up. We suggest you provide the local government you represent and the topics you are interested in.
Use the LISTSERV
You can email the LISTSERV to connect to over 700 members to ask for sample ordinances, pose questions, or gather insights from your peers. Once registered, you may also log into the LISTSERV archives at any time to search past messages.
